You can add colors and fun to your life even with simple household trifles. For example, make bright washcloths for the whole family that you can knit with your own hands, and this does not require any special skills. Do you doubt it? Then this selection of step-by-step videos is for you!
Crochet washcloths for beginners (step by step)
1. Crochet sponge with extended loops
For a bulky washcloth, take polypropylene yarn of several different colors and hook number 4. To make the product denser and more voluminous, knit in two threads. For a washcloth 14 cm wide and 28 cm high, cast on 30 loops and loop them back as usual.
Knit the first row with ordinary columns denser in each loop, and then two more rows with crochets. It is most convenient to form volumetric loops directly on the finger - so they will all be the same. In fact, this has almost no effect on the knitting process, because you just need to leave a loose tail.
In the process, change the colors of the thread, if you want a striped washcloth - so it will be brighter and more fun. Finish with crochets and regular posts - completely symmetrical to the back. And at the end, knit and attach a loop-handle so that the washcloth can be hung on the hook.
2. Round crochet hand washcloth
A small washcloth with a loop fits directly on your hand and is well suited for self-massage or pleasant relaxation. The loops are very small, so it is quite dense and elastic. Take hook number 4 to polypropylene fiber in two folds - so the loops will be quite airy, but tight at the same time.
You will need a slip loop ring with 6 crochet stitches. Continue to knit further with increments according to the same principle as amigurumi. Make a handle from ordinary air loops of the required length and tie it with another row of posts.
3. Washcloth without extended loops
It is not at all necessary that the washcloth should be fluffy and voluminous - without extended loops it will be no worse. To do this, you will need the already familiar skein of polypropylene thread (or a couple of multi-colored ones) and hook number 3. The pattern with which it is knitted is very simple and repeats along the entire length, so you will not have any problems.
Connect an even number of air loops in a ring, according to the desired width, and form the beginning with ordinary columns. Basically, 30 stitches are enough, but you can vary them to suit yourself. The checkerboard pattern is formed from alternating air loops and yarns directly into the arches. Don't forget to knit the loop handles and attach them to both sides of the washcloth!
4. Loofah crochet in one thread
It is not at all necessary to always knit in two folds for a sponge to turn out lush and beautiful. The main thing is to take a smaller hook, knit it tighter and make more stitches per centimeter. The more outer loops you have, the more voluminous and textured you will end up with a washcloth.
In fact, knitting washcloths is very fast - it will take no more than a few hours, which you can clearly see in this master class. Do not be afraid if you accidentally pull out some kind of loop to the wrong side, because it will not dissolve from this. Just mark the problem area with a crochet hook, find it on the front side and gently pull the loop back with your hands.
5. Crochet sponge-hedgehog
A cheerful hedgehog washcloth will delight children, and it fits in almost the same way as an ordinary one. First you need to make a nose and a muzzle - according to the same principle as amigurumi toys. The hedgehog's muzzle begins with a 6-column ring in one thread with a number 3 crochet hook.
From the next round, knit the main color instead of the black nose and continue knitting the muzzle with increments. To make the eyes, weave the black thread again literally one column on both sides. Form the washcloth straight from the head: make the hedgehog's stomach in columns, and the back with extended loops.
