Paper crafts are wonderful leisure activities for children and adults, and especially on New Year's Eve. They can decorate an apartment, a Christmas tree, windows or a New Year's table. With ordinary snowflakes, everything is clear - you take scissors and go. So here are some interesting ideas on how to make a volumetric snowflake out of paper!
1. Volumetric snowflake with rays-feathers
This snowflake looks very fluffy and is the easiest to do. Fold a large square sheet into a tight triangle according to the scheme (all the rays are hidden in it), cut it with a fringe and unfold it.
2. Volumetric thorny snowflake
You will need several round blanks of different sizes. Divide each segment into sectors, as in the picture, cut to the center and twist each segment with a pen, pencil or brush. Connect the parts with glue or stitch them.
3. Volumetric woven paper snowflake
You will need ten identical strips of white or colored paper. Interlace them in the middle like a basket wall and form rays. To make the snowflake even more voluminous, assemble it from two identical parts.

4. Volumetric snowflake-flower
Immediately cut out the rays of the shape that you need from the paper square and divide them into segments. Fold some of the segments towards the middle, and leave some straight. Here, too, you can superimpose and cross two blanks at once.
5. Swirling paper snowflake
The peculiarity of this snowflake is that each ray must be wrapped separately. Make slits in the paper diamond and wrap them in spirals, as in the photo. Collect the finished craft from seven to eight blanks.

6. Volumetric snowflake from strips of paper
Prepare five long strips of paper, ten shorter ones, and ten more shortest ones. Lay them in loops and collect them with a spikelet to make five separate rays. Glue them in the middle and secure with a button or paper circle.
7. Volumetric snowflake-spikelet
This scheme combines the best features of the previous two. Each ray is formed in the form of a spikelet from thin loops, but the stripes are cut from a square, and not separately. In total, you will need five to six such blanks, depending on their size.

8. Openwork volumetric snowflake
Fold two paper squares like an accordion and cut beautifully, as for an ordinary flat snowflake. Tie them in the center, staple the edges and straighten them.
