You will need: 2 beets, 1 carrot, 2 potatoes, 1 onion, 0.5 cabbage, 2 tomatoes, 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, 1 bay leaf, spices.

Preparation: Peel and chop the tomatoes, and cut all the vegetables into strips. Boil water in a saucepan, add potatoes with cabbage, and cook over low heat.

During this time, fry carrots with onions and beets in vegetable oil, and stew for 10 minutes. Add tomatoes to vegetables, season and stew, covered for another 20 minutes. Transfer vegetables to a saucepan, add bay leaves and spices, and bring to a boil.

You will need: 500 g of rice, 2 carrots, 2 onions, 1 chili, 2 heads of garlic, barberry, cumin, spices, 50 ml of vegetable oil.

Preparation: Cut the onion into half rings and fry in a cauldron until golden. Add carrot sticks to it and continue to fry until softer.

Pour in hot water so that it covers the vegetables by 1.5 cm. Add spices, whole heads of garlic, whole chili there, and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat. On top, spread the rice in an even layer, a fraction of water, and the carcass under the lid until the cereal is cooked.

You will need: 400 g flour, 200 g sugar, 200 ml water, 200 ml vegetable oil, 2 tsp. baking powder, 200 g of jam.

Preparation: Mix water with sugar until dissolved and pour in vegetable oil. Gradually add the sifted flour and baking powder, knead the firm dough and place 2/3 into a rimmed baking dish. Distribute the jam and top with the remaining grated dough. Bake the pie for 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees.

You will need: 1 kg of fish, 1 tbsp. mustard, spices, vegetable oil, 2 onions, 2 carrots, 1 pepper, 2 tomatoes, 1 bunch of herbs, 2 cloves of garlic, half a lemon.

Preparation: Combine lemon juice with spices, mustard and 1/3 cup vegetable oil, and marinate the fish for an hour. Chop all vegetables at random and fry the onions until golden.

This is a basic recipe that you can easily modify to your taste. Pureed soups from different vegetables are prepared according to the same principle.

You will need: 1 potato, 1 onion, 3 stalks of celery, 2 carrots, 2 tomatoes, 1.2 liters of water, spices, 3 cloves of garlic.

Preparation: Coarsely chop all vegetables, cover with water, add spices and bring to a boil. Boil the soup for about half an hour until the potatoes are soft over low heat. Cool it slightly, add garlic, beat with a blender, season and bring to a boil again.

11. Lean beans with vegetables

Use canned beans in the tomato, and then the tomato sauce is not needed.

You will need: 200 g beans, 40 g onions, 40 g carrots, 40 g zucchini, 40 g champignons, 20 g tomato sauce, garlic and spices.

Preparation: Combine sifted flour, baking powder, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Separately mix warm water, vinegar, liquid jam, coffee, vegetable oil, and sugar until dissolved. Combine both mixtures, whisk the dough with a whisk, pour into a mold and bake for about half an hour at 180 degrees.

You will need: 500 g champignons, 2 potatoes, 1 onion, spices, garlic, herbs and green onions.

Preparation: Cut the onions into rings, the courgettes into slices, and the peppers and eggplants into cubes. Fry the onion, then add the eggplant and pepper. After 5 minutes, add the zucchini and garlic, and at the end - the peeled chopped tomatoes. Season the salad with tomato juice with chopped herbs, basil and spices.

Any oat, soy, buckwheat, or nut milk will do.

You will need: 1 carrot, 0.5 onion, 1 celery stalk, 2 potatoes, garlic, spices, 1 tbsp. flour, 250 g of canned corn, 4 tbsp. peas, 350 ml of vegetable milk.

Preparation: Finely chop the carrots, onions, celery and garlic and fry for about 5 minutes. Add flour to vegetables, mix, pour over with vegetable milk and bring to a boil. Add chopped potatoes and cook until tender, and add spices, peas and corn a couple of minutes before the end.

16. Lean potato stew

In fact, the dish is much more interesting than it sounds.

You will need: 7 potatoes, 1 carrot, 1 onion, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 bay leaf, 5 peppercorns, paprika, spices, 1 bunch of herbs.

Preparation: Cut the onion into large half rings and fry until golden. Add grated carrots to it and continue to fry. Finally, add the diced potatoes, season and pour boiling water over the vegetables so that the water covers them lightly.

Continue simmering until tender, and 5 minutes before the end add bay leaf and peppercorns. At the end, mix everything with crushed garlic and chopped herbs.
