Crochet toys: patterns for beginners

Cute and touching knitted toys are a great gift with or without reason. They delight children, decorate any interior, and also take several evenings with a new useful and pleasant hobby. Do you doubt that you will succeed, because you have never had to hold a hook in your hands before? But there is nothing difficult in this, and especially for you, we have prepared a selection of master classes for beginners!

Crochet toys for beginners: 6 simple patterns

1. Bunny

From a flat charming bunny with a pom-pom tail, you can make a keychain, magnet or patch on clothes. It will make a wonderful element for a homemade postcard or gift wrapping. And most importantly, this does not require any skills and a lot of materials.

Choose the brightest colored yarn and use it to make a 4-stitch ring. Knit lifting loops and 16 half-columns with 2 yarns in it - you will get a tight elastic circle. To go to the head, and then to the ears, you need the same ordinary air loops. For a ponytail, instead of a thread pompom, you can take a piece of fur or crochet a small ball.

2. Little sun

From such a neat sun, you can also make a keychain or use it for a mobile on a crib. The diameter of a toy made of yarn is 200-240 / 100 g when crocheting number 2.7 - 6 cm.Choose threads in yellow and orange colors, and for decoration use black, white, beige or pink.

Knit 6 double crochet into a ring, tighten and continue knitting in a circle with increments. To make the sun voluminous, fill it with a padding polyester or a piece of cellulose napkin and tie two parts around the perimeter. Knit the rays directly in a circle from the workpiece, varying their length with yarns and air loops.

3. Ladybug

Although such a ladybug needs quite a lot of small parts for the specks and the head, it is still very light. It starts with a regular 6-column amigurumi ring and gradually expands due to crochets. For filling, use a synthetic winterizer, holofiber or ordinary cotton wool.

An interesting point is knitting the bottom, because the legs of a ladybug are imposed directly on it in a circle. It is better not to sew the details, but to tie them together - it looks neater and more natural. Make a dividing strip from air loops, and tie your head through the same air loops.

4. Volumetric heart

A voluminous heart will be an excellent romantic gift and just a pleasant trifle. It looks especially cute and delicate from pink plush yarn - very soft and textured. In addition, if you are just trying your hand, the voluminous plush will hide minor flaws.

The heart is knitted using the amigurumi technique from a standard 6-column ring. First you need to make two identical pieces - this will be the upper part of the heart. And then sew them together, tie them in a circle with one working thread and continue working.

5. Spring tulip

These tulips can be put in small homemade vases and assemble whole compositions from them! First, prepare the stem from a tube wrapped along its entire length with green thread. And then start knitting, starting with the flower petals!

Make a slip ring, knit 3 stitches and 14 double crochets. By the same principle, continue to knit the petals in a circle, and give the shape with the help of yarns. Tie the middle separately and connect all the parts together, and then put on the stem. It remains only to decorate it with a leaf tied from a row of air loops.

6. Teddy bear

If it seems to you that knitting bears is a fundamentally new level of skill, we hasten to assure you otherwise. It's just as simple, especially if you take voluminous plush threads, which are even faster and more convenient to work with. This is where the special safety eyes for soft toys come in handy.

For work, take two hooks - 3 and 2.5 mm for the torso and small parts separately. Keep in mind that one skein will not be enough for you, because the height of the finished bear is as much as 33 cm. In fact, there are not so many details in the bear: body, head and nose, two arms, two ears and a tail.

The most difficult moment is the transition from the legs to the body, but you just need to tie two parts with a working thread and lead it further. Stuff the legs very tightly and shape them by hand - this applies to any bends of knitted toys. At the end, you can hide the joints of the bear's body, head and arms behind a wide bow.
