At the very least, this is inconvenient, and in the worst case, it is fraught with creases and detachments. You have to take action yourself. 1. Acetone and foil
This is the most affordable method, because a regular acetone nail remover is sold in any store. Cut out small pieces from cotton pads slightly larger than the size of the nail plate, soak each with acetone and attach to the nails.
Wrap your fingers with foil on top, wait 20 minutes and try to gently remove the gel polish with an orange stick. To reduce the injury to the skin of the fingers, before the procedure, lubricate the rollers with a fat cream or petroleum jelly. If somewhere the varnish has not gone away, repeat the removal after a while.
2. Nail file
We cut off as much varnish as possible with a regular nail file, and then repeat the first method with acetone. You can keep the cotton pads a little less - about 15 minutes - after the nail file, one such time is usually enough. But do not cut the base all the way down to the nail so as not to damage the plate.

3. Caps and clamps
Special caps and clamps that fit over the finger are a convenient and reusable foil replacement. But it is better to put in them not cotton pads, but non-woven napkins soaked in acetone.
4. Liquid for removing gel polish
In addition to acetone, there are special liquids for craftsmen and salons. This method is also not the safest, but it is still more effective than an acetone wash. The liquid in the same way impregnates a cotton pad, which must be fixed with foil or a cap for 10-15 minutes.
5. Wipes for removing gel polish
There are special napkins in cosmetic chains. These are small two-layer sachets with a special liquid inside. The principle is the same as with acetone, but still this method is a little more delicate.
First, cut off the varnish with a file, then treat the skin with something greasy and put on the bags. Press each one well so that it does not fall off, and hold for 10-15 minutes - according to the manufacturer's recommendation. If after that some areas of the varnish do not come off, treat them pointwise with the same napkins.
6. Cutters for manicure
If you have ever experimented with home manicure and pedicure, then you probably have an apparatus. In this case, we recommend using a special cutter - the safest and most gentle method, although it seems the opposite.
If you're worried about getting hurt, use a ceramic burr and set the RPM to low. Smoothly cut off the gel polish layer by layer, and do not rush to immediately saw through to the nail.
