Aromatic dried fruit compote can be cooked at any time of the year. This healthy drink has a low calorie content, perfectly invigorates and quenches thirst. There are many known recipes for its preparation, but today we will tell you 20 of the best of them!
1. Classic dried fruit compote
The quality of dried fruits is judged by their appearance and aroma.
You will need: 3 liters of water, 300 g of dried fruits, 100 g of sugar.
Preparation: Rinse dried fruits, cover with water and cook for 20 minutes over low heat. Turn off, add sugar and leave under the lid for 3-4 hours. Strain the compote before serving.
2. Dried fruit compote with raisins
If you use sweet raisins, then the amount of sugar can be reduced.
You will need: 4 liters of water, 300 g of dried fruits, half a glass of raisins, 120 g of sugar.
Preparation: Pour cold water over dried fruits and cook for 20 minutes. Add raisins, sugar and cook for another 10 minutes. Turn off, cover the compote with a lid and leave for 2-3 hours. Process and cool.
3. Compote from dried fruits without sugar
Too dry dried fruit should first be soaked in cold water.
You will need: 3 liters of water, 300 g of dried fruits.
Preparation: Pour the washed dried fruits with cold water and boil the compote for 15 minutes after boiling. Remove from heat and leave for 3 hours, covered. Strain before serving.
4. Dried fruit compote with citric acid
Moderately sweet and sour - what else is needed for a perfect compote?
You will need: 3 liters of water, 300 g of dried fruits, 2 g of citric acid, 1 glass of sugar.
Preparation: Pour dried fruits with water, add sugar, citric acid and simmer for 20 minutes. Turn off and leave covered for 2 hours. Strain the finished compote.
5. Dried fruit compote with spices
For a beautiful presentation, you can use chopped fruits, green leaves and ice.
You will need: 4 liters of water, 1 glass of dried fruit, 10 g of ginger root, 2 star anise stars, 2 allspice peas, 1 clove, 5 pieces of barberry, 1 tsp. lemon zest, 120 g of sugar.
Preparation: Pour spices, chopped ginger and lemon zest with a glass of water, boil for 10 minutes and strain. Boil dried fruits in a large saucepan for 20 minutes. Add sugar, turn off and leave under the lid until it cools completely. Pour in a decoction of spices, stir and leave for another 3 hours.
6. Compote with dried fruits and rose hips
Rosehips can be chopped in a blender or simply crushed in a mortar.
You will need: 2.5 liters of water, 300 g of dried fruits, 50 g of dried rose hips, 100 g of sugar.
Preparation: Rinse dried fruits and soak for 2-3 hours, then boil in the same water for 20 minutes. Add chopped rose hips, sugar and cook for another 10 minutes. Insist the compote under the lid for 4-5 hours, strain and bottle.
7. Compote from dried fruits and dried apricots
Dried apricots should not be cooked for more than 10 minutes, as they will lose their beneficial properties.
You will need: 3 liters of water, 1 glass of dried fruits, 100 g of dried apricots, 50 g of raisins, 5 tbsp. Sahara.
Preparation: Pour dried fruits with cold water and boil for 15 minutes. Pour in raisins, sugar and chopped dried apricots. After 10 minutes, remove the compote from the heat, cover and leave for 2 hours.
8. Compote with dried fruits and pumpkin
Be sure to strain the compote several times before serving.
You will need: 4 l of water, 300 g of dried fruits, 100 g of pumpkin, half a glass of sugar, 1 tsp. lemon juice.
Preparation: Rinse dried fruits, peel the pumpkin and cut into small cubes. Put everything in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Boil the compote over low heat for 20 minutes. Add sugar, lemon juice, boil for 2 minutes and leave covered for 3 hours.
9. Compote from dried fruits and fresh apples
Cut the apples into large pieces.
You will need: 3 liters of water, 1 glass of dried fruit, 2 fresh apples, 4 tbsp. sugar.
Preparation: Pour washed dried fruits with water and boil for 15 minutes. Add sugar and chopped apples. After 10 minutes, remove the compote from the stove and leave to infuse for 4-5 hours.
10. Dried fruit compote with ginger
Cut the ginger with a knife or grate.
You will need: 2 liters of water, 200 g of dried fruits, 100 g of ginger, 1 glass of sugar.
Preparation: Rinse dried fruits, peel the ginger and chop finely. Put everything in a saucepan, add water, sugar and simmer for 20 minutes. Cover for 4 hours, then strain and cool.
11. Compote with dried fruits and jam
You can use any jam you like.
You will need: 3 liters of water, 200 g of dried fruits, 100 g of any jam, 3 tbsp. Sahara.
Preparation: Mix the washed dried fruits with sugar and boil for 20 minutes. Add jam and boil for another 5 minutes. Insist the compote under the lid for 2-3 hours, then strain 2-3 times.
12. Compote of dried fruits and hibiscus

You will need: 2 liters of water, 200 g of dried fruits, 2 tsp. hibiscus, half a glass of sugar.

To remove excess bitterness, it is better to cut off the crust from the lemon.
You will need: 3 liters of water, 300 g of dried fruit, two slices of lemon, 150 g of sugar, 1 clove.

19. Compote with dried fruits, cinnamon and orange peel

You will need: 2 liters of water, 300 g of dried fruits, a cinnamon stick, 1 tsp. orange peel, 50 g of raisins, 80 g of sugar.
Preparation: Pour dried fruits, cinnamon, raisins and zest with cold water. Boil for 20 minutes after boiling. Strain the syrup, add sugar and boil for another 10 minutes. Serve the fruit on a plate, pouring over the fragrant liquid.
20. Compote of dried fruits and brandy

You will need: 0.5 l of water, 400 g of dried fruit, 120 g of brandy, 1 tbsp. brandy, 200 g of sugar.
Preparation: Boil washed dried fruits for 5 minutes, add sugar and turn off after 10 minutes. Pour in cognac, brandy and leave under the lid overnight. In the morning, boil the compote for another 3 minutes over low heat and leave to cool under the lid.
