If you still think that fish soups are too specific, we want to convince you otherwise! Therefore, we found 20 different, but invariably delicious recipes. At least one of them will surely melt the hearts of even those who do not like fish at all!
1. Fish soup from hake
Moderately thick and rich soup is equally good in summer and winter.
You will need: 400 g hake, 1.7 l water, 2 onions, 1 carrot, 50 g rice, 3 potatoes, herbs, spices.
Preparation: Separate the ridge from the fish and cook it for 20 minutes with spices, a whole onion and half a carrot. Strain the broth and add the potato pieces and rice. After 7-8 minutes - slices of hake and frying, and cook for another 15 minutes under the lid. At the end, season the dish, add herbs and leave the soup to brew for a bit.
2. Pollock fish soup
Light and aromatic fish soup with egg and green onions.
You will need: 1 pollock fillet, 1 egg, 1 bunch of green onions, 2 potatoes, 1 onion, 1 carrot, 1 bunch of parsley, spices.
Preparation: Thinly chop the carrots and onions and cook the frying, and boil the egg. Cut the potatoes separately into cubes and the pollock into portions. Send them to boil in water for half an hour, add frying, and after 2 minutes - chopped egg and herbs.
3. Soup with fish meatballs
Add basil, wild garlic or other aromatic herbs if desired.
You will need: 500 g fish, 1 egg, 4 tablespoons. bread crumbs, 30 g butter, green onions, 1 carrot, 3 potatoes, 150 g peas, 1 tomato, spices.
Preparation: Pour the bones from the fish with water and cook the broth, and chop the fillets into minced meat and mix with the egg and breadcrumbs. Add the grated butter and chopped green onions there, and make small meatballs.
Strain the broth and add the potatoes and carrots, and after 10 minutes add the peas. After another 10 minutes, add the grated tomato, spices and meatballs, and cook the fish soup until tender.
4. Red fish soup
A more refined version of fish soup when you want variety.
You will need: 300 g of red fish, 2 liters of water, 2 potatoes, 1 onion, 1 carrot, spices, herbs.
Preparation: Chop potatoes and carrots and toss in boiling water with whole onion and spices. After 15 minutes, add large pieces of fish and boil for another 10 minutes. At the end, sprinkle the soup with herbs.
5. Fish pike soup
Pike meat is dietary, so it is suitable for children and those who care about their figure.
You will need: 500 g of pike, 1.7 l of water, 1 carrot, 4 potatoes, 1 onion, spices.
Preparation: Cut the potatoes into small cubes and cook. When it's done, add the spices and pike pieces and cook for another 7 minutes. Fry grated carrots and onions, add to the soup, bring to a boil and let it brew under the lid.
6. Fish cod soup
The cod soup turns out to be very harmonious and just as healthy.
You will need: 300 g cod, 1 carrot, half a chili, 3 potatoes, 1 onion, half a pepper, 40 g butter, spices.
Preparation: Cut the potatoes into cubes and cook, and chop the carrots and onions and fry in butter. Finely chop the bell peppers and chili. After 10 minutes, add pieces of cod to the potatoes, and after another 7-8 - frying, pepper and spices. Boil the soup until the vegetables are ready.
7. Soup with canned fish
Any canned fish such as saury or pink salmon are suitable.
You will need: 3 cans of canned fish, 700 g of potatoes, 200 g of onions, 200 g of carrots, spices.
Preparation: Cut the potatoes into cubes and cook. After 5 minutes, add chopped onions and grated carrots with spices, and after another 5 - canned fish. Boil the soup until the potatoes are ready.
8. Fish soup with tuna
Tuna soup is quick and easy to prepare, making it a great choice when time is running out.
You will need: 250 g canned tuna, 100 g rice, 2 potatoes, 1 onion, 1 carrot, 2 cloves of garlic, half a bunch of cilantro, 1.5 liters of water, spices.
Preparation: Cut the potatoes and carrots and cook, and after 5 minutes add the onion to the soup. Rinse the rice well, add it there, and simmer for about 20 minutes. Finally, add mashed tuna along with liquid, garlic, herbs and spices to the soup. Bring the dish to a boil and let it brew under the lid for 10-15 minutes.
9. Fish soup with noodles
For this recipe, take any river fish.
You will need: 300 g of fish, 1 liter of water, 1 potato, 1 carrot, 1 onion, 3 tbsp. small vermicelli, 1 bunch of dill, spices.
Preparation: Cut the potatoes into cubes, chop the onion finely, and grate the carrots. Put all vegetables in boiling water and cook. Add fish slices there, and after 20 minutes add spices, noodles and herbs. Boil the soup for another 5-7 minutes and remove from heat.
10. Soup with hondashi fish broth
Japanese miso soup is traditionally made from hondashi. These are dry concentrated granules.
You will need: 2 tsp hondashi fish broth, 150 g tofu, 10 g sesame seeds, 80 g miso paste, 10 g wakame seaweed.
Preparation: Soak the seaweed in 500 ml of cold water and let sit for 10 minutes. In another 1 liter of water, dissolve the fish broth, heat and dissolve the miso paste in it until smooth. Cook for another 10 minutes, but don't let the soup boil. Add small cubes of tofu, sesame seeds and seaweed and boil for another 2 minutes.
11. Fish soup with rice and celery
Aromatic herbs and spices will perfectly fit into this recipe.
You will need: 250 g of fish, 0.5 cups of rice, 100 g of peas, 1 stalk of celery, 2 potatoes, 1 carrot, 1 onion, spices.
Preparation: Fill the fish with water and boil for 10 minutes. Add spices, potato cubes and washed rice and cook for another 10-15 minutes. Cut carrots, onions and celery into small cubes, lightly fry and put in a saucepan. After 5 minutes, add the peas, and after the same amount, remove the soup from the heat.
12. Fish soup with buckwheat
We recommend choosing fatter fish to make the soup rich.
You will need: 200 g fish, 1.5 l water, 0.5 cups buckwheat, 1 carrot, 3 potatoes, 1 tomato, smoked paprika, spices
Preparation: Fill the fish with water and boil for 5-7 minutes. Add buckwheat, potato cubes and grated carrots and boil about the same amount. Then add the grated tomatoes and spices, and cook the soup until all ingredients are cooked.
13. Fish soup with melted cheese
Choose a cheese with an expressive creamy taste, but without harsh additives.
You will need: 250 g of fish, 100 g of processed cheese, 1 carrot, 1 onion, 2 potatoes, 1 liter of water, spices.
Preparation: Cut the potatoes into cubes and put them to boil, and after 10 minutes add the fish pieces to it. Chop the carrots and onions, cook the roast and add it to the soup after another 10 minutes. Season to taste, add shredded processed cheese and cook until melted.
14. Fish soup with spinach
You can also add processed cheese instead of an egg.
You will need: 300 g fish, 100 g spinach, 2 potatoes, 1 egg, 1 handful of green beans, 1 onion, spices.
Preparation: Chop the onion and fry until golden, and add the spinach to it. Boil the fish for 10 minutes, and add finely chopped potatoes to it. After another 5 minutes, add the green beans and spinach with onions to the soup and season. Boil the vegetables until cooked, and at the end, beat in a raw egg and mix well.
15. Fish soup with tomatoes
Use tomatoes in your own juice instead of pasta and sauces.
You will need: 400 g of fish, 1 can of tomatoes, 80 g of onion, 80 g of carrots, 120 g of celery root, 2 cloves of garlic, spices.
Preparation: Grate celery with carrots, chop the onion, finely chop the garlic and fry everything in a pan. Put the coarsely chopped fish in boiling water and boil for 5 minutes. Add tomatoes and spices to the frying, mix well and transfer the vegetables to the soup. Boil everything together for another 10 minutes.
16. Fish soup with zucchini
The most beautiful and lightest green soup in this collection.
You will need: 300 g fish fillet, 1 liter of water, 1 zucchini, 1 bunch of spinach, 1 leek, spices.
Preparation: Put the spiced fish pieces in boiling water, and put the thin leek rings in the same place.After 5 minutes add the chopped spinach, and after another 5 minutes add the diced courgette. If you wish, you can thicken the soup with a raw egg at the end.
17. Fish soup with pumpkin
We recommend adding ginger, star anise and chili.
You will need: 500 g fish, 300 g pumpkin, 3 potatoes, 2 tomatoes, spices.
Preparation: Cut the fish into portions and boil for 20 minutes, and then remove from the pan. Put the potato sticks in the broth, and after 5 minutes - the pumpkin cut into strips. After another 5 minutes, add grated tomatoes and spices, and cook until vegetables are cooked. At the end, return the fish to the pot.
18. Fish soup with cream
A bold and very unusual combination.

Preparation: Cut the fish into pieces and cook. Add chopped carrots to it and leave for another 20 minutes. Fry the onion with mushrooms and spices, and then put it in the soup too. At the very end, add the cheese to the saucepan, and when it melts, season the soup with lemon juice.
20. Fish soup with lentils
Instead of lentils, you can take millet or dry peas.
You will need: 500 g fish, 200 g potatoes, 100 g lentils, 50 g onions, 50 g carrots, spices.
Preparation: Fill the fish with water and boil the broth for 35-40 minutes, and then strain. Add potatoes to it and cook.
